The department of Physiotherapy was established as a clinical department in the year 2000. The college had been certified by the ISO 9002 certification in 2006. The department's commitment to clinical, on-going staff education and performance review, and teaching ensures that the physiotherapy service offered is of high quality and is always being improved. The department is well equipped with modern electronic gadets to sharpen the professional skills of the students by practical training. Equipments like EMG, NCV, Evoke potential, PFT, Biofeedback, MWD, Dynamometers, pressure biofeedback, harness system with balance master etc are available.

The course aims to develop high levels of academic and clinical competence and to produce professionally competent physiotherapists who can respond effectively to the changing environment of health provision, thereby ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care. To this end, the students are encouraged to be responsive and innovative and take responsibility for their own learning . Students also gain a wide variety of clinical experience in both acute and community settings, learning under close supervision and guidance of senior physiotherapist.
The physiotherapy OPD is located on the ground floor . On an average 50 patients receive daily physiotherapy consultation and treatment in the wards. OPD services are provided to the patients on all working days including gazetted holidays. The department is equipped with all hi-tech equipment for the evaluation and treatment purpose.This is on campus centre where students gets exposure to all type of cases.
